LenguASR / Documentation
Model installation
The plugin comes with the runtime and an editor helper. You’ll need to download the model weights separately:
- Enable LenguASR and restart Unreal Editor.
- Open Tools -> LenguASR Models.
- Review the model terms, then click Download / Verify Models.
- Wait until Both models are installed and verified before loading recognition.
Once installation finishes, you’ll find these files in Content/Models:
| File | Installed Size |
|---|---|
nemotron-3.5-asr-streaming-0.6b.q8_0.gguf | 724,169 KB |
silero-v6.2.0.gguf | 1,212 KB |
The total download is about 708 MB.
Progress and retry
The models download in the background and save directly to disk. You can close the tab while they download and open it again later to check progress.
Sources
- The editor downloads Nemotron from NVIDIA’s Hugging Face revision.
- It downloads Silero 6.2.0 from the whisper.cpp model.
The editor converts Silero into GGUF format for the runtime.
Offline installation and packaged games
After installing and verifying the models, copy the GGUF files into Content/Models in the plugin folder. They won’t appear in the Content Browser. Use Open Models Folder to find them.
Install the models before you package your game. The build rules include them as NonUFS runtime dependencies, so they’re bundled with the build. Packaging will fail if the required files are missing.
Keep the default paths unless you’ve set up custom staging. The editor helper isn’t included in packaged builds, so packaged games won’t download models on their own.
